What is Restaurant & Catering Western Australia?

Formed in 1978, Restaurant & Catering Western Australia is a not-for-profit industry peak association made up of food service businesses existing solely for the purpose of protecting and serving the interests of the industry and the viability and profitability of those enterprises operating within the industry.

The organisation is a registered union of employers under the Industrial Relations Act and is a key stakeholder in the industry™s peak national body, Restaurant & Catering Australia.

The association is governed by a board of directors elected annually from the association's membership, none of whom receive any payment for their services, with all funds generated being applied back to industry initiatives, member benefits and services.

Any member is entitled to a say in the direction of the association, the services it provides and can stand for nomination to the board and to be involved in representing member businesses™ needs.

Day to day management of the association™s operation is overseen by the Executive Director who is answerable to the board of directors, located within the Association office in West Perth.
